Yes, the perennial bad boy of golf is at it again. In a recent article on Bloomberg.com, John Daly lost his temper and smashed the camera of a golf fan.
Now it’s probable that the fan overstepped what is good conduct on the course by trying to get a photo of the golfer as he hit his ball into the trees on the final hole of the first round of the Australian Open. And we must point out that bringing a camera or cell phone violated the terms of admitance to the Sidney based event. Add to that low humor due to a golf performance for the round was less than noteworthy. But to smash the camera on a tree?
In the end, John has avoided any sanction for his actions. Lucky for him. As for the rest of us Daly Bad Boy watchers, we can only wonder just how long it will be before John’s temper or outrageous actions gets the better of him.
